
Lynette’s dance is shaped by her Lebanese ancestry, scholarship and travels in the Middle East. Her dance training began in Vancouver BC with contemporary western dance forms, and has continued with master teachers and performers from Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Europe, and North America.
Lynette is committed to encouraging dialogue among cultural communities, dancers and non-dancers, in North America and the Middle East. She currently resides on Vancouver Island, and is an active author, anthropologist, educator, and dance artist.
